Operations - Agriculture
Fresh vegetables required for manufacturing of the products are procured from the farms through well-controlled farming practices. The controls include selection of the fields based on the set criteria, training of farmers, crop cultivation by implementing and monitoring of the established package of practices, harvesting, post the harvest handling, and transportation as per company guidelines.
Farming activities are monitored and controlled by well-trained staff, with highly experienced staff at key positions. Location of the manufacturing facility has the convenience of vegetable procurement from Karnataka state as well as the neighboring states Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana. Sourcing plan is done in line with the marketing plan to ensure a timely supply of the products. Farming practices are continuously reviewed and upgraded to meet the new challenges and the changing regulatory requirements of the importing countries.
Food products are manufactured in hygienic environment to ensure food safety, quality and regulatory compliance of the products. Good Manufacturing Practices are followed as per the national and international guidelines. Packaging range in retail, institutionaland industrial segments includes glass jars, plastic jars, metal cans, HDPE drums and plastic pails. Product range includes pickled gherkins and other vegetables, relishes, chutneys and sauces. We have set up a well-equipped Product Development facility to bring out new products including any customized products. Each product is subjected to a thorough shelf life assessment to confirm food safety. Manufacturing activities and all supportive functions are effectively managed by competent and well-trained personnel. Each department has staff with in-depth knowledge and vast experience of food processing.
Manufacturing facility is located in an area away from any pollution. It is well equipped and adequately maintained to ensure food safety, quality and regulatory requirements of the products. Entire perimeter is protected by a compound wall.
Quality And Safety
Quality systems are established according to the international requirement for food safety. We hold BRCGS and IFS certifications for food safety and quality management. Our products are Kosher approved by Star K. Several of the biggest retailers in the world have chosen us for the creation of their private-label products.
On behalf of numerous customers around the world, we were audited by various third-party agencies, and we have achieved high ratings. The plant has an analytical and a microbiology laboratory. For the stability of the products, shelf-life study is done on each product manufactured at the facility.
